Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 23 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, workshops, creative experiences, private events and other services provided by Colourful Wine Art Café & Bar (“Colourful Wine”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By making a booking with Colourful Wine, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings & Payments
Bookings may be made through our website or another booking method approved by Colourful Wine.
Public workshops, classes and ticketed events require full payment at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
Private parties and private events require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.
A booking is not confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been received.
Prices may change from time to time. The price confirmed at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
2. Public Workshops, Classes & Creative Experiences
Bookings for public workshops and classes are subject to availability.
This includes experiences such as Paint & Sip, resin art, candle and home fragrance workshops, Paint Your Pet, school holiday workshops and other creative sessions offered by Colourful Wine.
Changes more than 7 days before your session
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another available Colourful Wine session of equal value.
Transfer requests must be made more than 7 days before the original session.
Each booking may be transferred once only, and the replacement session must take place within 3 months of the original booking date, subject to availability.
If you choose a higher-priced session, you will need to pay the difference. Any unused difference when transferring to a lower-priced session is not refundable.
Changes within 7 days
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable within 7 days of the session, including for change of mind, illness, personal circumstances or inability to attend.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund or transfer.
This does not exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Private Parties & Private Events
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a private party or event.
Your booking date and time are not secured until the deposit has been received.
Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid 2 days before the event.
Where Colourful Wine has specifically agreed that the balance may be paid on the day, that arrangement will apply to that booking.
Reductions in guest numbers after the final numbers have been confirmed may not reduce the final amount payable.
Additional guests are subject to availability, venue capacity, staffing and materials.
Changes to the activity, catering, timing or other arrangements are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
The $100 booking deposit is non-refundable if you cancel the event.
Requests to change the date of a private event will be considered subject to availability and the amount of notice provided. Additional charges may apply where costs have already been incurred.
4. Arrival, Late Attendance & No-Shows
Please arrive at the time stated in your booking confirmation or event information.
Many Colourful Wine experiences operate to a scheduled start and finish time.
Late arrivals may miss instructions or part of the activity. We will do our best to help you catch up, but the session may not be extended beyond its scheduled finishing time.
Significant late arrival may result in reduced participation where it is not practical or safe to join the activity.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund, credit or transfer.
5. Children & Supervision
Age recommendations or restrictions shown on individual workshops and activities should be followed.
For general visits and activities, children under 12 must be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult unless the activity is specifically advertised as a supervised or drop-off program.
Different supervision arrangements may apply to organised birthday parties, school holiday programs and other children’s activities. These will be communicated as part of the individual booking or event information.
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Colourful Wine of any relevant allergies, sensitivities or other information required for the child’s safe participation.
6. Food & Alcohol
Colourful Wine is a fully licensed Art & Craft Studio, café and bar.
BYO alcohol is not permitted.
Alcohol will only be served in accordance with applicable NSW liquor licensing requirements and responsible service of alcohol obligations. Valid identification may be required.
Outside food may only be brought into the venue where this has been agreed with Colourful Wine in advance.
Food and catering arrangements for private events must be confirmed before the event.
Customers should advise us of known food allergies or dietary requirements when making catering arrangements. While we will take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
7. Creative Activities & Safety
Colourful Wine offers a range of creative activities that may involve materials including paint, resin, wax, fragrance oils, plaster, adhesives and other art and craft materials.
Some activities may involve heat, chemicals, tools or materials that require specific handling.
Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Colourful Wine staff or instructors.
Where protective equipment is provided or required, participants must use it as instructed.
Participation may be refused or stopped if we reasonably believe continuing would create a safety risk to the participant or others.
Please tell us before the session if you have concerns about a particular material used in an activity.
8. Finished Artwork & Collection
Some creative projects, particularly resin, candle and other curing or setting activities, may not be ready to take home immediately after the session.
Where collection is required, we will advise you when your work is ready.
Completed work should be collected within the timeframe communicated by Colourful Wine.
We will take reasonable care of completed artwork awaiting collection but cannot store items indefinitely.
9. Photography & Video
We may occasionally photograph or film workshops, events and activities for use on Colourful Wine’s website, social media and promotional materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let a staff member know.
For children’s activities, we will take particular care regarding identifiable photographs and will respect requests from parents or guardians not to photograph their child.
Where practical, we will avoid using identifiable images of anyone who has opted out.
10. Colourful Wine Club & Memberships
Membership benefits, prices, discounts and inclusions are those advertised for the relevant membership at the time of joining.
Member discounts and special offers may apply only to selected workshops, events, products or dates and are subject to availability.
Membership benefits cannot generally be exchanged for cash or combined with other offers unless specifically stated.
Member-only events may require advance RSVP and may have limited capacity.
Colourful Wine may introduce, change or discontinue individual membership benefits from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated to members where appropriate.
Specific membership terms displayed at the time of purchase also form part of these Terms & Conditions.
11. Third-Party Booking Platforms
Some Colourful Wine experiences may also be available through third-party booking platforms such as ClassBento.
Bookings made through a third-party platform may also be subject to that platform’s own booking, cancellation and refund terms.
Where a booking was made through a third-party platform, changes or cancellations may need to be processed through that platform.
12. Changes or Cancellations by Colourful Wine
Occasionally we may need to change, postpone or cancel a workshop or event due to circumstances such as instructor illness, insufficient bookings, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where Colourful Wine cancels a session and cannot provide the booked service, customers will be offered an appropriate alternative, transfer or refund in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Where possible, we will provide as much notice as reasonably practicable.
13. Personal Belongings & Liability
Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings while visiting Colourful Wine.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Creative activities can involve paint, resin, wax and other materials that may stain or damage clothing or personal belongings. Participants should dress appropriately for the activity.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with your booking will be used to manage your booking, communicate with you and provide the requested services.
We may also communicate with you about Colourful Wine where you have consented to receive marketing communications.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
15. Updates to These Terms
Colourful Wine may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, policies or legal requirements.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to your booking are generally those in effect at the time the booking is made, unless a change is required by law.
