Think spooky meets sweet — a candle that’s fun to make, beautiful to display and completely personalised by you.

You’ll choose your fragrance, create your candle and then transform the top with piped whipped wax and a selection of specially prepared Halloween-inspired wax embellishments.

No previous candle-making or creative experience is needed. We’ll guide you through the process step by step, making this a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop where you can simply enjoy creating something special.

Create Your Own Halloween-Inspired Candle

This isn’t your ordinary candle-making workshop.

The Spooky Sweet Candle Workshop combines traditional candle making with decorative techniques to create a candle with plenty of Halloween personality.

You’ll begin by preparing your candle and choosing a fragrance from our available workshop fragrance collection.

We’ll guide you through the candle-making process and explain how the different elements come together to create your scented soy candle.

Then comes the part that makes this workshop extra special — decorating the top.

Using creamy whipped wax and our collection of Halloween-inspired wax decorations, you’ll turn your candle into your own spooky-sweet creation.

Choose a Fragrance You Love

One of the best things about making your own candle is choosing how you want it to smell.

You’ll select your favourite from the fragrances available during your workshop.

Whether you’re drawn to something fresh and uplifting, soft and floral, warm and comforting or rich and sophisticated, you can choose a fragrance that suits your personality and home.

We’ll guide you through adding your fragrance as part of the candle-making process, giving you a little insight into how scented candles are made along the way.

Learn the Whipped Wax Technique

Once your candle has been prepared, it’s time to get creative.

You’ll work with whipped wax to create the creamy, textured finish that gives the Spooky Sweet Candle its distinctive look.

The wax is transformed into a soft consistency that can be piped onto the candle, creating texture, height and plenty of visual impact.

It feels a little like decorating a cake — except everything is made from wax.

You’ll be guided through the technique before creating your own design.

There’s no need for everyone’s candle to look identical. In fact, we’d rather they didn’t.

Experiment with the piping, choose where you want your decorations and create a candle that feels completely your own.

Add Your Halloween Wax Decorations

To give you plenty of time to enjoy the creative part of the workshop, your decorative Halloween wax pieces will be prepared in advance.

You’ll be able to choose from a selection of playful Halloween-inspired wax embellishments and arrange them over your whipped wax.

Mix and match your favourites, experiment with different arrangements and decide whether your candle is going to be more spooky, sweet or a little bit of both.

Because everyone can choose their own fragrance, decorations and arrangement, every finished candle will be slightly different.

The Spooky Sweet Candle Workshop has been designed as a creative experience rather than a technical candle-making course.

We’ll break the process into manageable stages and guide you throughout the session.

You don’t need to be artistic, good at piping or experienced with candle making.

Our sample candle will be there for inspiration, but there’s no expectation that yours needs to look exactly the same.

The goal is to enjoy the process, try something new and create a candle you’re excited to take home.
