Whether you’re brand new to resin or already love fluid art, this workshop gives you the chance to craft four custom coasters using high-quality resin and a variety of pigments, metallics, and decorative additives.

✨ What You’ll Create — Four Custom Resin Coasters

In this Resin Coaster Casting Workshop, you’ll create four beautifully finished coasters using your choice of colours and effects. You’ll get to explore a range of techniques including:

• Colour mixing with resin-safe pigments

• Adding shimmering mica powders or metallic accents

• Pouring and swirling techniques

• Working safely and confidently with resin

• Finishing and curing tips for lasting results

Each coaster becomes a little unique artwork — glossy, stylish, and made entirely by your hands. Resin is incredibly fun to work with: it moves, swirls, and shifts gently, creating natural patterns that look like ocean waves, marble, smoke, gemstones, or galaxies depending on your colour combinations.

Our Glow and Flow theme comes through beautifully in resin, as the material naturally produces smooth, flowing movement and luminous, glowing surfaces.

🧪 A Hands-On Creative Resin Experience

During this workshop, you’ll receive guidance on every step of the process, including:

• Resin mixing ratios

• Safe handling and workspace setup

• Colour selection and pigment combinations

• Pouring, swirling, and layering techniques

• Adding details without overworking the resin

• Tips for even curing and preventing bubbles

Your workspace will be fully set up when you arrive, and all materials will be provided for you. This includes:

• Resin and hardener

• Mica powders, pigments, and metallics

• Mixing cups and sticks

• Silicone coaster moulds

• Gloves and protective equipment

• Heat gun demonstrations if needed

Please note: Resin pieces require curing time. Your coasters will remain on-site to cure and can be collected the next day once fully set.
