Do children need any art experience?
Not at all! Our creative activities are beginner-friendly, and no previous art experience is required.
Whether your child is attending one of our school holiday workshops or enjoying a walk-in Creative Experience, we provide the materials and guidance they need to create something special.
Children are encouraged to explore their imagination, choose their own colours and enjoy creating at their own pace.
Are all materials included?
Yes! All our Creative School Holiday workshops and walk-in Creative Experiences include the materials needed to complete the chosen project.
Depending on the activity, this may include paints, brushes, decorative embellishments and other specialised art supplies.
There are no additional material costs for the selected activity.
Does my child take their artwork home?
Absolutely! Every child takes home their completed creation to enjoy, display or gift to someone special.
Whether they choose plaster painting, a personalised photo frame, a decorative door plaque or one of our upcoming school holiday workshops, they’ll have a special handmade keepsake to be proud of.
Some projects may require additional drying or curing time before they can be safely taken home.
What should my child wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing that your child won’t mind getting a little creative in!
At Colourful Wine, we provide aprons for our guided school holiday workshops. However, as some activities involve paint, resin, foam clay and other craft materials, we recommend wearing clothes that can handle the occasional splash or spill.
For our walk-in Creative Experiences, children can enjoy creating at their own pace in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Can siblings choose different workshops?
Absolutely! At Colourful Wine, we understand that every child has different interests and creative preferences.
During our school holiday workshops, siblings and friends can choose different workshops based on their age and interests, subject to availability.
For more flexibility, our walk-in Creative Experiences allow each child to choose their own project, from colourful plaster painting to decorating a wooden photo frame, door plaque or keepsake box.
With activities starting from just $15, families can enjoy a fun, creative outing together without needing to book in advance.
