Our school holiday workshops are the perfect blend of fun, focus, and creativity — giving children a chance to explore art, develop new skills, and build confidence in a relaxed, friendly environment. Parents can sip coffee or wine in the café while their kids bring colourful clay creations to life under the gentle guidance of our talented instructor.

This final week of our January series is a fan favourite, featuring two beautiful, story-inspired projects:
🐻 Little Makers (5–8 yrs): Bear on the Moon
🌳 Creative Makers (9–12 yrs): Totoro Forest

🐻 Morning Session – Little Makers (5–8 yrs): “Bear on the Moon”

🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM 💵 $45 (all materials included)

Dream big and reach for the stars! In this heartwarming kids art class, children will sculpt a peaceful night sky scene featuring a cuddly bear resting on the moon. Using foam clay, clouds, and soft textures, each young artist will design a frame that glows with imagination.

This school holiday workshop focuses on creativity and self-expression while introducing children to the joy of storytelling through art. Dominique guides participants step-by-step, teaching how to layer materials, shape figures, and bring emotion to their artwork.

• Mixing gentle tones to create calming backgrounds

• Sculpting 3D shapes and layering textures

• Encouraging storytelling through visual design

Each child takes home their own Bear on the Moon artwork — a dreamy, handmade keepsake that parents will cherish.

🌳 Afternoon Session – Creative Makers (9–12 yrs): “Totoro Forest”

🕐 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM 💵 $45 (all materials included)

Our final creative workshop of the season invites older kids to step into the enchanting world of Studio Ghibli! Inspired by the beloved Totoro, this session teaches participants to create a detailed forest frame using foam clay, earthy colours, and textured designs.

The school holiday workshop helps kids explore composition and atmosphere — learning how to balance simplicity and detail while creating a calm woodland environment. Dominique encourages artistic independence, showing how to use texture, layering, and expression to make each artwork unique.

🌿 Skills developed:

• Building structure and balance in 3D compositions

• Adding small details for realism and storytelling

• Experimenting with natural tones and organic forms

Each participant will leave with their own Totoro-inspired frame — complete with forest textures, playful characters, and that signature sense of calm that comes from creative focus.

This session is always a hit with older children and pre-teens who love movies, fantasy, and world-building through art. 🌙
