Elaine Butler
Elaine Butler is a multi-disciplinary artist and arts facilitator with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Founder and Creative Director of Fun Time Art, she is also an established mural artist, qualified in Art Therapy, and a children’s book author and illustrator.
About Elaine
Elaine's artwork is a unique fusion of her Australian/Irish heritage and her love of nature and people. Passionate about artistic expression, she creates using a variety of mediums including watercolour, acrylic, oils, collage, graphite, pencils, pastels, charcoal, and more.
Her artwork has been exhibited across Sydney, throughout regional New South Wales, and internationally in Ireland, England, Italy, and Norway. She has been selected as an Arts Finalist for numerous art prizes, including the Blacktown Arts Prize, Hunters Hill Art Prize, and Zig Zag Art Prize. She won the People’s Choice at the L’CAP Art Prize, served as a Featured Artist for the Eigse Arts Festival, Ireland and completed artist in residencies in Tinryland, Ireland and Oslo, Norway. Her cap is feathered with many artistic accolades.
Elaine's passion is inspiring creativity in others. Through, Fun Time Art, she offers a diverse range of innovative and immersive arts educational programs across Northwest Sydney, the Blue Mountains, and Lithgow. Catering to all ages and artistic backgrounds, each Fun Time Art class is designed to ignite creative expression, build self-confidence, and promote wellbeing.
